The mental health of both children and adults in our school is vitally important.

Haimo Primary School is committed to talking about and dealing with mental health issues.

We encourage adults and children to talk openly about positive and negative mental health.

Mental Health First Aiders

Here are our Qualified Mental Health First Aiders. This training is in affiliation with Mental Health First Aid England.

Parent Information

Haimo Primary School works with the Greenwich Mental Health Schools Team (GMHST) who can provide support and advice about your child's mental health. 

 

Services offered by GMHST:

Introduction to MHST

Anxiety in children (parent/carer) - workshop

Managing challenging behaviour (parent/carer) - workshop

Nursery transitions (parent/carer) - workshop

 

Other child based workshops and sessions are also available through the use of referrals. These workshops include work on friendships and anxiety.  Should you wish to enquire about any of these workshops please speak to your class teacher who will pass on your details to either Ms Reeves our SENCO or Mr Yu our Mental Health Lead.
