What will we be learning this term?

Year 5

Year 5 Tower Hill and Victoria classes will be learning about Vikings, Anglo Saxons and Scots this term for our history unit and Extreme Earth for geography. We will study Living things and Their Habitats and Forces in science and Christian Festivals and The End of Life's Journey in RE.

We will continue with our sentence stacking for English and will be reading and writing a range of fiction and non-fiction texts.

In maths, we will be focusing on multiplication and division, fractions, decimals and percentages, perimeter and area and statistics.

Year 6

Year 6 Camden Town Class and Aldwych classes will be learning about Global Trade this term for our geography unit and World War II for history. We will study Evolution and Inheritance and Animals Including Humans (The Circulatory System) in science and Judaism and Christianity in religious education. 

We will continue with our sentence stacking for English and will be reading and writing a range of fiction and non-fiction texts including a fairy tale, an interview and a diary entry.

In maths, we will be focusing on ratio and proportion, algebra, decimals, percentages and measure (perimeter, area and volume).
